A mantra is a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation.

 

ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO

I bow to the creative consciousness that expresses through all things. I bow to the teacher within.”

This chant is a way to tune into yourself at the beginning of class. This is considered an invocation mantra. To call upon the highest source of wisdom.

Namo – I bow to

Guru – moving from darkness to light

Dev – beloved, transparent

SAT NAM

Truth is my true identity ~ when I identify with the truth that I am part of all of consciousness.

A mantra often used to close practice.
